This month saw the Government finally present the people of NSW with its much-awaited Budget. There was little to celebrate and not much fanfare. We have already seen the Government reverse its decision to wipe out vital funding for the NSW Screen Industry in last week’s budget.

On 16 August 2023 it will be twelve months since I was sworn into Parliament at Government House. Of course, a lot has changed in that time and I reflected on my inaugural speech delivered on 11 October 2022 to review my progress and to remind myself of the path that I intended to follow.
